Beggs Public Schools faculty and students of all ages have been participating in Red Ribbon Week activities this week, including dressing up for theme days. Silas Been, BES student, chose to dress as an old cowboy for "Drugs are Old School" day. BMS teacher Denise Gray celebrated "Wave Goodbye to Drugs" Hawaiian theme day. BHS staff members Mandy Been, Vickey Jones, and Rachel Tenison posed for Versus day at the high school. They represented a good vs a bad conscious.

Beggs 8th grade had the opportunity to visit Green Country Technology Center today. They were given a tour of the center and all the programs it has to offer high school students. Never to early to start planning!

The Beggs mayor has said we have a huge water leak in town. He is going to try to fix it before the tank runs out. Beggs Public Schools is monitoring the situation.
