Mrs. Annette Eggleston was named Beggs Public Schools District Teacher of the Year this morning during a staff meeting ending the school year. Eggleston, who is retiring this year, taught for 21 years at Beggs. She taught Headstart, then Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten. Other site Teacher of the Year winners and Support Staff of the Year winners were honored at the meeting. District retirees were also named. Beggs Superintendent Shawn Tennyson and Beggs Board of Education staff members passed out gifts to retiring staff and honorees.

There are no breakfast/lunch menus for May for Beggs Public Schools. Daily meals will be cook's choice based on supply.
Beggs Public Schools has a busy week planned May 6-10.
Any 7th grade band students interested in being in color guard for marching band next year need to be at the band building from 4-5 pm Monday - Friday this week.
