2023 DEMON BASEBALL EARNS ACADEMIC RECOGNITION

Your 2023 Golden Demon Baseball Team was awarded a Distinguished Academic Achievement Plaque after the season.

The honor recognizes the top 10% grade point averages of high school baseball teams in class 3A.

Their initial goal was to win the 3A Academic Championship.  However, they fell just a little short.  

"I just realized at practice one day that I was coaching a bunch of smart kids and I wanted them recognized as such," said BHS Baseball Coach Rod Grimmett.

Grimmett said that BHS Academic Advisor Kandi Stanton gathered all of the information and it was submitted by BHS Athletic Director Chad Stanton.

Grimmett credits the BHS staff for working with the team and holding them accountable in their academic studies.
