Sorry for the short notice, but Beggs Public Schools will be closed for the holiday tomorrow, Wednesday, June 19. The BES office is open today and Thursday of this week until 2 pm. Our last week to be open for summer is next week M-Th. The BES office begins our summer break on Friday, June 28. We will reopen on Monday, July 29.

Mrs. Annette Eggleston was named Beggs Public Schools District Teacher of the Year this morning during a staff meeting ending the school year. Eggleston, who is retiring this year, taught for 21 years at Beggs. She taught Headstart, then Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten. Other site Teacher of the Year winners and Support Staff of the Year winners were honored at the meeting. District retirees were also named. Beggs Superintendent Shawn Tennyson and Beggs Board of Education staff members passed out gifts to retiring staff and honorees.






Mr. Tennyson would like to thank Janice and the Beggs Chamber of Commerce for his Teacher Appreciation Day gift!
