Due to continued water problems in town, Beggs Public Schools will be virtual again tomorrow Tuesday the 8th. We are sorry for any inconvenience.
In an effort to they to take the pressure off of parents to be prepared for school after a lack of water all weekend, and to try to help the town recover, Beggs Public schools will be virtual tomorrow Monday November the 7th. A big shout-out to our Beggs High School cheerleaders who were awarded a Distinguished Academic Achievement Award from OSSAA. We are very proud of you and all of your accomplishments! Keep up the good work.
Beggs Public Schools faculty and students of all ages have been participating in Red Ribbon Week activities this week, including dressing up for theme days.
Silas Been, BES student, chose to dress as an old cowboy for "Drugs are Old School" day. BMS teacher Denise Gray celebrated "Wave Goodbye to Drugs" Hawaiian theme day. BHS staff members Mandy Been, Vickey Jones, and Rachel Tenison posed for Versus day at the high school. They represented a good vs a bad conscious.

Sophomore cross country runner Chasity Clay learned today that she has qualified for the State Cross Country Meet on Saturday at Edmond Santa Fe.
According to BHS girls cross country coach Denise Gray, who is very proud of Chasity, she will run at 2:15 p.m. in the meet.
